The present investigation was carried out to assess the qualitative phytochemical analysis of stem of Vincetoxicum subramanii The phytochemical screening of stem extracts revealed the presence of steroids, saponins, alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, phenolic compounds, tannins and terpenoids in ethanolic extracts. Abstract

Medicinal plants have been used in the treatment of various diseases as they possess potential pharmacological activities including antineoplastic, antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, analgesics, anti-diabetic, anti-hypertensive, antidiarrheal and other activities.
