Abstract

One of the biggest challenges of the modern world is the penetration of artificial intelligence into military realm. As a result, the types of weapons and approaches to warfare, as well as the nature of war in general have significantly changed. In connection with these changes, the article substantiates the need to target the guidelines for the maintenance and development of the state’s military potential in this direction. Accordingly, the article presents the universal experience of applying artificial intelligence for military purposes, based on new functional capabilities of weapons or military technologies, which have become available thanks to artificial intelligence.
