It can effectively improve the bandwidth utilization ratio that using lower channel bandwidth than video's playing rate, such as greedy equal bandwidth broadcasting (GEBB) scheme and poly-harmonic broadcasting (PHB) etc, but they do not change the bandwidth seamlessly and dynamically. Base on the characteristics, this paper proposed a new scheme, high performance seamless channel transition video-broadcasting scheme (HPSCT) with scalability and higher performance. Furthermore, with adoption of additional channels, the process of channel transition in HPSCT is transparent to clients and easier to be realized.
