PID tuning methods widely used in engineering are mostly trial and error methods, which increase the burden of engineering debugging. In this paper, the transfer function model of BLDCM is analyzed firstly. On this basis, the parameters of BLDCM are calculated by area method and several PID tuning methods are studied. Matlab nonlinear least square function is used to optimize PID parameters according to ITAE index and overshoot, and the optimized Kp, Ki and Kd are obtained to realize PID parameter tuning. The analysis shows that the parameters of BLDCM PID tuned by ITAE, the rise time of step response, overshoot, ITAE and other indicators have obvious advantages.
