The network topology discovery issue is changed into the minimum spanning tree of map by optimization strategy which based on ants’ election roads. Moreover, the idea of depth-first search is combined with to ensure the connectivity of tree. Power line attenuation and link pheromone concentration are considered when the state transition probability is calculated in ant algorithm. That is to ensure the best link can be chosen when network topology changes.
