Pengembangan Potensi Sosiologis Pesantren Di Era Globalisasi

Abstract

Pesantren is an Islamic educational institution whose existence has contributed a lot to improving the quality of human resources both in religious affairs and in social life. The existence of pesantren has played its role as an educational institution since the colonial era until now in the global era in managing the life of society as a whole. This study intends to examine the sociological potential of Islamic boarding schools in the era of globalization with the research site at Islamic boarding school Al Falah Dago Bandung. The method used is a case study with data collection through documentation studies, interviews and field research. Sources of research data through interviews were conducted on clerics, ustazd, pesantren staff and students. The results showed that the sociological potential of pesantren in the era of globalization with research studies at the Al Falah Dago Islamic boarding school, Bandung are; 1) Socio-logical potential owned by Islamic boarding school Al Falah Dago Bandung through social service activities of the pesantren, 2) Sociological potential of the pesantren owned by Al Falah Dago Bandung Islamic boarding school through Islamic boarding school clean Friday activities, 3) Sociological potential of the pesantren owned by the Al Falah Dago Bandung Islamic boarding school through prevention of school dropouts .
