The existence of pesantren has played its role as an educational institution since the colonial era until now in the global era in managing the life of society as a whole. This study intends to examine the sociological potential of Islamic boarding schools in the era of globalization with the research site at Islamic boarding school Al Falah Dago Bandung. The method used is a case study with data collection through documentation studies, interviews and field research. Sources of research data through interviews were conducted on clerics, ustazd, pesantren staff and students.
