Abstract
This paper describes our recent experiences using a SOPC approach to develop laboratory design projects for undergraduate students in our electrical and computer engineering curriculum. New generation commercial FPGA based SOPC development boards with an embedded RISC processor core and CAD tools are used to support a variety of student design projects.
