Abstract
Carpal tunnel syndrome is a commonly encountered entrapment neuropathy of the median nerve under the flexor retinaculum. Course of median nerve is associated with several anatomical abnormalities. Various anomalies of the median nerve are frequently associated with carpal tunnel syndrome. Various radiological and electrophysiological modalities assist clinical examination in reaching to accurate diagnosis. We present a case of a young male with carpal tunnel syndrome with a bifid median nerve with persistent thrombosed median artery.
