The proposed VSS-CPhiA achieves significant improvement in convergence speed of the CPhiA, while preserving its robustness against impulse noise. Through analysis and experiment, we demonstrate effectiveness of the VSS-CPhiA in realizing sufficiently fast-convergent and robust adaptive filters.
