Abstract
The interest for the difficulties met by teachers resides in the necessity of knowing the types of situations in school environment that can be solved or even foreseen by teachers and especially by class masters by using the educational counseling specific competences. We wanted to be aware what are problem situations that teachers and especially class masters deal with in their daily educational activity, indifferently of their nature (for example, the low participation in classes or the problems derived from the students' behavior, attitude or family environment) in order to meet the teachers' necessities for training and perfecting their relation with students, with the aim to obtain a high quality educational process. The data analyses was made by combining quantitative (statistical) methods with the quality (content) ones, with the aim to obtain a more detailed and real image as possible. According to the results, the participants appreciate that the problems and difficulties that have been identified and confronted within the school environment can be solved by developing the educational counseling competences. The answers about the difficult situations that have been met and the implemented solutions reflect the fact that the most frequent incidents in school are those of verbal violence. Incidents that contain physical violence or objects destruction in school are less frequent. On the other hand, skipping classes and a low motivation to learn represent aspects that teachers deal with very often. The study can represent an efficient informative instrument whose results can be integrated within the managerial and educational steps for more categories of beneficiaries or decision factors. The given data can build the foundation for the relevance of the future continuous training programs.
