The purpose of this study was to investigate social comparison levels of secondary and high school students who regularly do sports. For this purpose, the Social Comparison Scale was used. A total of 323 secondary and high school students volunteered to participate in the study. In the study, data was using the SPSS 16 software package and Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis tests were applied to determine significant differences (α = 0.05). As a result, it was determined that the students’ purpose in doing sports affects their social comparison levels (p 0.05). © 2015 IOJES.
