Abstract

The article focuses on some possible ways of adjusting the discipline of Translation Studies to new educational standards, providing the rationale for reviewing its content, volume and teaching methods. A brief outline of educational modifications as carried out at the Humanities Faculty and the Philological Faculty of PFUR (RUDN University, Moscow) in the course of the last 15 years is provided.
