The Commemorative Internet Project as an Instrument of Construction and Preservation of Collective Identity (by the Example of “The Memory Book of the Komi Republic”)

Abstract

The object of study is commemorative internet project “The Memory book of the Komi Republic” as a tool of preservation and translation of living link to the past. It is revealed that similar projects need enlargement of strictly documented forms by families’ stories-legends. It allows to illustrate personal attitude of correspondents to the events recording not only rational but emotional participation too.
