Abstract

Distributed energy resources or multiple virtual power plants participating in a partnership within a virtual power plant often belong to different interest entities, so it is crucial to allocate the internal benefits of the VPP fairly and reasonably. Therefore, the article analyses the issue of revenue distribution in coordinating and optimizing various distributed resources and participation in the electricity market by virtual power plants. Firstly, the research status on revenue allocation is reviewed from aspects of the bargaining game, Shapley values, improved Shapley values, and internal bidding mechanisms. Secondly, the general process of different revenue allocation methods for virtual power plants is described.
