Conventional PID controller to optimal controllers like Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) is implemented to make the TRMS response track the desired output of the system quickly and accurately. Abstract
The Twin Rotor MIMO System is a mathematical prototype of a helicopter and this paper explores several conventional and sub optimal control methods of this system.
