Abstract

Speaking skills are the main skills that must be mastered by Arabic learners in order to be able to speak Arabic properly and correctly in accordance with applicable language rules. This study aims to determine the process of learning speaking skills and the form of evaluation in learning speaking skills at Markazul Lughah Miftahul Ulum Kebun Baru Islamic Boarding School Pamekasan. In this study, the researcher used a descriptive approach with a qualitative approach to determine the learning process and evaluation of learning speaking skills at the Markazul Lughah Miftahul Ulum Kebun Baru Islamic Boarding School Pamekasan through interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the learning process and evaluation of speaking skills learning at Markazul Lughah Miftahul Ulum Kebun Baru Islamic Boarding School Pamekasan used several learning methods and strategies that were adapted to the level of students' kalam skills such as conversation, speech and so on
