Data analysis in this study used a Partial Least Square (PLS) based Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) approach. The results showed that organizational culture has a positive effect on employee’s organizational commitment, organizational culture on employee creativity. Abstract

Creativity is a determinant of a company’s success in competing in today’s modern world. Of course, employees who think creatively are an asset to the company. This study aims to determine the effect of organizational culture on employee creativity through organizational commitment as a mediating variable for employees of Islamic Financial Institutions in Yogyakarta. This descriptive quantitative research uses a Likert scale in measuring the variables. Respondents in this study amounted to 219 employees who are in Islamic Financial Institutions in Yogyakarta.
