Abstract

The paper presents a mathematical model of synchronous machines with different dynamic modes of operation with application in electric vehicles. The synchronous motors with permanent magnets in rotor are widely used in industrial and mechatronic technologies due to their high efficiency, small size and high torque. The presented model is realized in MATLAB/Simulink. Through the realized models in the laboratory environment different types of research can easily be done. Developed models can be used to study the properties and performance of electric vehicles, nano systems, intelligent loads.
