The vehicle is motorized by batteries which are charged through-conventional power source and PV module. In order to-facilitate fast charging and to reduce power loss substantially, a four channel interleaved boost converter has been-integrated with solar module where switching losses are minimized using zero voltage switching (ZVS) technique. In addition to this, a discontinuously switched vienna rectifier has been designed that guarantees reduced THD and improved PF. The speed control of the BLDC motor is done using hall sensor technique.
