Abstract

Infrared Thermography is a technique for carrying out inspections and non-destructive tests that can also be used as a support tool for developing medical devices based on the use of shape memory polymer materials. This paper sets out some of the opportunities and advantages provided by this technique for designing the heating systems associated with these shape-memory polymer based devices.
