Abstract

Channel estimation is required in wireless communication to detect the correct symbol from the received signal at the receiver. Adaptive algorithms are proposed in literature to estimate the channel information. But most of the gradient based adaptive algorithms developed where error square is a cost function which is not robust to the impulsive noise.
