Abstract

In real conditions, magnetic focusing systems are affected by external magnetic fields. This also happens to correct the magnetic field in the gap of the focusing system when it is deflected. This article provides a modified mathematical model that considers both each individual magnet in the system and the impact of external magnets on it. An equation is given for the magnetic field of an individual magnet, an external influencing magnet, as well as the final equation of the entire system
