Abstract

Virtual, augmented and mixed reality are expected to grow rapidly in popularity as the technology gets more mature over the coming years. For mobile networks these applications can put quite challenging requirements. In particular when the user devices shall have low weight and low energy consumption it may be necessary to offload some of the processing to edge cloud servers.
