Efficiency has become very critical as the automotive industry takes the path of electric vehicles and therefore many types of approaches to control HVAC in an effort to increase energy consumption efficiency while maintaining consumer comfortability. A proposal to use both LDA and Kalman Decomposition to provide comfort and efficiency has not been found to be implemented and would be a good study to explore. Abstract

This paper is intended to provide an overview of a literature survey conducted to explore the level of control technology in the space of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC).
