The control signals from digital outputs of the NI myDAQ allows to perform rotation direction change and braking of the tested DC motor. Virtual Instruments have been developed in NI LabVIEW for studying motor speed control, reversing and electric braking, pulse-width modulation, measuring speed and current, and plotting the speed-current diagram. The description of the experiment setup and the procedure of conducting experiments are given below. The results of some experiments have been presented. Abstract

The paper presents the Pocket Lab for studying DC micro motors. The main goal of this laboratory is to study a DC motor with a pulse-width converter.
