Emissions of interference are discussed and basic equipment requirements identified. Attention is also given to susceptibility, where again the basic requirements are identified. Abstract

This Paper reviews the growing importance of achieving Electromagnetic Compatibility, highlighting the need for a deeper understanding of the subject within the sphere of today's modern telecommunications systems.
