Abstract

The present study examines the problem of finding optimal fuel consumption trajectories for attitude control of the orbital manned station using jet attitude engines performing spatial maneuvers at large angles. For generation optimal maneuver trajectory in this work it is proposed to use the Lobatto pseudo-spectral method. This method allows transforming optimal control problem into nonlinear mathematical programming problem, which can be solved using sequential quadratic programming method. The results of mathematical simulation showed significant economy of fuel.
