To insure the safety of the electric power supplies' functioning, a well dimensioned grounding and the atmospheric overload protection system is installed. From the results obtained based on the installation's design, the needs of the protection and distribution equipment and also the cable list were determined. By viewing the current versus time curve, the protection's selectivity for each distribution panel can be observed. Abstract

This paper presents the design (based on ABB-DOC software) of the electric power supply of a water treatment station.
