Abstract

In the paper the ozone generation in the process of barrier discharge directly inside the catalytic block of the honeycomb structure was considered.For given ozone-catalytic device mathematical model of the barrier discharge and ozone generation processes in gaseous environment was developed, that allows to calculate the heating of the device and to investigate of the dependence of the ozone generation efficiency on the temperature of the gases and on their concentrations.The results of the investigations are interesting in terms of solving the problem of exhaust gases purification at the cold start of an automobile engine.
