Abstract

Abstract This article presents a comprehensive overview to innovative ways of delivering training and education to child care practitioners. Meeting the needs of adult learners inaccessible to education due to geographical location has been a great need in the child care field, as well as a challenge. Using actual programs as illustrative examples, the authors, who actually collaborated from a distance (Canada and Florida), show ways in which the gaps are being filled in.
