Abstract

Wind turbine connected with electric power system has an impact on the system stability and nodal voltages. This paper investigates about the studies of voltage collapse in grid while integrating the wind turbine equipped with squirrel cage induction generator. The aim of this paper is to find wind generators placement with the application of the continuation power flow (CPF) technique in order to achieve the static voltage stability margin. The IEEE14 bus test system is used to illustrate the application of wind generator model and techniques.
