Abstract

In epiphyton of the Shchugor River 143 species (with varieties and forms) of diatoms from 49 genera, 21 families were identified. Families Fragilariaceae Achnanthidiaceae, Gomphonemataceae, Naviculaceae, Bacillariaceae, Eunotiaceae include 10 and more taxa. Genera Gomphonema (11), Eunotia, Nitzschia (10 species) are predominate. Diatoms on mosses are the most abundant and diverse.
