Abstract

This study is devoted to evaluating the accuracy characteristics of the tracking algorithm for devices operating in ultra-dense radio access networks in the millimeter frequency range FR2, with the aim of adaptive formation of a three-dimensional directional pattern by the antenna array of the base station. The content of this work can be divided into two parts. In the first part of this paper, a mathematical formalization of the estimation of the coordinates of subscriber terminals, the algorithm for the operation of the tracking filter and the formation of the beam control vector is given. On the basis of the presented mathematical model, with the help of the developed simulation program, in the second part an analytical study of the accuracy characteristics of the operation of the tracking filter at different intensity of maneuvers of the terminal in the horizontal plane is performed.
