Abstract

Educational games are video games with enjoyment and instructions, and game-based learning is a specific application form of educational games based on learning contents and learners' characteristics. As a form of effective learning method, it has attracted wide attentions. This paper took CNKI, China National Knowledge Infrastructure, as the data source, retrieved "educational games" and "game-based learning" as key words, and selected literature review articles for systematic literature review. In order to study the research context and trend of educational games and game-based learning comprehensively, this paper focuses on four aspects, including subject classification, research change, existing problems and future trend.
