However, teachers should need assistance to support effective teaching and learning process. In this global era, ICT has become integral to the teaching-learning interaction. The purpose of this paper is to examine how important the application of ICT for optimizing the realization of the current English curriculum. The researchers choose a qualitative research with literature type and a descriptive analytical approach. The data collection method used is the study of documents or literature. The result of this research is to know the urgency of ICT in English learning. Abstract
