Extended-monitoring system：A new attempt in CAS’s research institute evaluation

Abstract

How to adapt the construction of the evaluation system of research institutes of the Chinese Academy of Sciences to the new requirements? To address new challenges, we propose a new model with the core unchanged, while upgrading the traditional quantitative monitoring system to the Extended Monitoring system, thereby promoting the greater role of quantitative monitoring in the evaluation of the Institute.It can be said that the quantitative monitoring system and result expression method of the Extended Monitoring System have better achieved the dual purpose of monitoring and motivating scientific research institutions.
