Abstract

IEC 61850 is the standard for communication networks and systems within electrical substations. All substation functions, information and process equipment interfaces can be virtually represented in IEC 61850 worlds. Disturbance and fault data can be retrieve from the DFR and IEDs that produce single file call COMTRADE file which is very important to engineers to analyze the disturbance and fault events.
