Using Natural Language Processing to Precisely Discern Public Demand: A Data Analysis of “Local Leaders' Message Board”

Abstract

Nowadays, big data is driving the transformation of human life style and social governance mode with unprecedented power, and network policy has become an important carrier of public management. This article uses Python to obtain 7767 political questions on the message boards of local leaders in Heilongjiang Province from People's Daily, presents the characteristics of public appeals through natural language processing technology, explores the deficiencies in the public service supply in Heilongjiang Province, and builds a public demand-oriented public service precision supply cycle system to propose countermeasures to promote the precise supply of public service.
