The main objective of the study was to assess the health status of agriculturists using traditional and advanced methods and equipment in their day-today activity. The prevalence of zoonotic diseases, toxic hazards and physical hazards were assessed in the present study. The body mass index of agriculturists was also studied using anthropometric measurements. The present study was conducted among three villages of Jawali taluka, namely, Dund Mura, Dund and Malchundi. The total sample size was 120 agriculturists belonging to all three villages. The data collection included anthropometry, interviewers administer questionnaire and interviews. The study states that agriculturists belonging to these villages carry out most of the agricultural activities manually. Hence, prevalence of physical pain was more among the agriculturists of all three villages. Agriculturists do suffer from biological and chemical hazards.
