CONFISCATION CAMPAIGN CARRIED out IN the SEMIPALATINSK REGION IN the 20-30S of the XX CENTURY

Abstract

The article deals with regional manifestations of the collectivization policy of the 20-30s of the XX century, including the confiscation campaign carried out in the Kazakh society. In particular, the author clarified the reasons and consequences of the implementation of the confiscation campaign in the Semipalatinsk region on the basis of archival documents. During the campaign, the fate of representatives of social groups with property confiscation, personalities and dynasties known to the Kazakh society was studied. In particular, a serious blow was dealt to the socio-economic situation of the Kazakh people by destroying the descendants of the kunanbai dynasty and representatives of wealthy groups, like-minded Alash movement. These aspects of this policy are covered in detail in the study. The mechanisms of confiscation and the impact of governing decisions on the Kazakh environment and its results are also systematized.
