Abstract

Cooperative communication enables distributed terminals with a single antenna to form a virtual multiple antenna system and benefits from diversity. In this paper Quasi-Cyclic LDPC codes are applied to both Amplify-and-Forward Cooperative scheme and Decode-and-Forward scheme over Rayleigh fading half-duplex relay channel. Simulation results show excellent performance of Quasi-Cyclic LDPC codes with cooperative schemes compared to the same codes in direct link communication of AWGN channel and Rayleigh channel.
