Abstract
The main purpose of this study is to develop a mobile-based peer assessment system and apply this system to assess the students' works of computer curriculum in an elementary school. We adopted mobile technology to design a peer assessment APP which can be deployed in mobile devices such as smart phone. In order to investigate the user perception toward this system and peer-assessment activities, we conducted an experiment on computer curriculum. The participants are 276 six grade students from 11 classes in an elementary school. The subjects were asked to assess their peer works of video processing anonymously. The finding shows that the students show high appraisal toward this system and like to attend peer assessment activities.
