The suggested antenna is designed and analyzed using Ansoft HFSS-15. Patch with U shaped slots are designed on a 30×30×1.6 mm3 FR4 epoxy substrate. Initially, antenna is designed with a basic square shaped patch then modified into a U-shaped slotted patch. Ground plane is loaded with a slot to ensure multiband response. It has been shown that by changing the slot position, improvement of various antenna parameters has been occurred significantly. The designed antenna resonates at four different resonant frequencies with reflection coefficients less than -10 dB. Proposed antenna is offered maximum bandwidth of 910 MHz and maximum gain of 6.61 dB. The proposed antenna produces fewer amount of cross polarization with respect to all resonant frequencies.
