Abstract
Indonesian Weather Radar Polarimetric (I-WARP) is a pulse doppler X-band dual-polarized weather radar, located in Institut Teknologi Bandung, Indonesia. Since the radar is still in its refinement stage, the measured raw data show inconsistency in some parts of the data stream. The inconsistency is in terms of the amplitude of the received echoes which in some frames, exhibit very high values although the object distance is assumed to be far away from the radar. Therefore, it is assumed that in each frame, the location of the maximum amplitude determines the start of the frame. After adjusting the initial location of each frame, the plan position indicator (PPI) reflectivity plot shows a more realistic result.
