Abstract

MIMO systems have been proved to improve communication in wireless systems but with increased system complexity. The increase in complexity is due to the increase in the number of radio frequency chains to be decoded at the receiver end. To try to address the problem of complexity associated with an increase in the number of antennas, antenna selection was proposed.
