EMC Education in a Master's Degree Program on Radio Frequency Engineering

Abstract

As a result of the reputation of long-standing areas of established strength in RF and communications research, Bradford University's Postgraduate School of Information Systems Engineering received one of the largest allocations for postgraduate education in the UK Government's 1985 'Shift to Science and Technology' initiative. The course that was supported was a Master's course in Radio Frequency Engineering, to which 20 Government-funded studentships were allocated (with scope for recruitment of additional students not eligible for studentships). The program is organised in a modular structure with a strong emphasis on 'hands-on' experience, particularly in the area of CAD.
