These types of research are Research and Development. The product developed is the Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) Categorized Mathematics Exam for Junior High School Students. The trial sample was taken using a non probability sampling technique, namely accidental sampling. Research Procedure The development that will be carried out in this study is taken from the Suryabrata development research procedure. This study uses Rasch model data analysis techniques. The results obtained 18 items of HOTS mathematics test items consisting of 15 multiple choice questions and 3 valid essay items. Based on the analysis of the level of difficulty of the questions in the field trial trials obtained on multiple choice questions, there are eight easy category items and seven medium category items.
