Implementation of Simplified Method for Constant V/F Speed Control of 3-phase Induction Motor

Abstract

This paper describes a simple method for generating three SPWM (Sinusoidal Pulse Width Modulated) signals, with ability of smooth frequency adjust and keeping the constant ratio between voltage and frequency of the resulting sine signal. A midrange 8-bit PIC microcontroller is used, running at 4MHz system clock frequency.
