Abstract

High gain circularly polarized substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) slotted cavity antenna is proposed using TE440 high order modes. A linear to circular polarization convertor is used in order to achieve a circular polarization (CP). The antenna has many attractive advantages such as low profile, light weight, and compact in size. Moreover, it offers both left and right hand circular polarization.
