Abstract

The energy management is very important for an installation of a small hybrid system. In this paper is developed the theory for cost and management of the energy. To calculate the energy management is used the life cycle cost (LCC) method and for measurement results the simulation soft Matlab. To calculate the LCC costs is need the measurements for wind speed, these measurements are taken from a Meteo Station from TEI University from Crete, Greece, for one year. With the data taken and with the formulas from LCC are made the calculation in Matlab program. The graphs and the tables resulting from this calculation with Matlab are for the cost of energy, for wind generator, photovoltaic panels, power, energy management and LCC.
